A little shop with a lot of heart, rooted in Phinney Ridge.
Mercadito was born out of a simple truth: Seattle families buy incredible gear — and then it sits in garages, taking up space, when another family could be using it.
I'm a mom based in Phinney Ridge, and I started this as a side hustle rooted in something I believe in: good things deserve a second life. The name Mercadito — "little market" in Spanish — comes from my Mexican heritage and the warmth of neighborhood markets where everything has a story.
We specialize in the brands Seattle families actually use: UPPAbaby strollers for the Burke-Gilman, Ergobaby carriers for Woodland Park hikes, Thule trailers for the Cheshiahud Loop. We know this gear because we live this life.
Every item that passes through Mercadito stays in the community — and out of a landfill. That matters to us.
Every transaction is personal. We're neighbors, not a warehouse. You're selling something your kid loved.
Premium kids gear is built to last years. Keeping it in use is the most sustainable thing we can do.
Phinney Ridge, Fremont, Wallingford, Green Lake — we're your neighbors. Same community, same values.
No games. We offer fair market rates, pay same day, and explain our reasoning if you ask.
